Would you take an organ if you were in need of one? Nearly everyone would. But only 31% of us have joined the Organ Donor Register.



Almost everywhere in the world, the demand for organs substantially surpasses the number of donors available. Many patients who had hoped for a second chance at life die everyday, waiting for someone’s generosity. If only enough people had registered to be donors, their organs could have been used to save hundreds of other lives.



Unfortunately, not many people give importance to, or are aware about this selfless act that could change so many lives; while many others have misconceptions that prevent them from making such a noble contribution to the community.



What’s the harm in donating, when you will no longer need them?
